Steve is a Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo graduate with an Architectural Engineering degree, then served 3 years in the Navy with a tour to Viet Nam as a Deep-Sea Diving Officer.

From conceptual sketches to construction administration, the team integrates advanced digital modeling with proven project management methodologies to mitigate risks and optimize resources. Each commission is approached with rigorous site analysis, regulatory due diligence, and a commitment to timeless aesthetics, thereby ensuring resilient structures that serve communities for generations.

His professional history is architecturally diverse, including military, office, commercial, mixed use, retail, industrial, casino, hospitality, health care, senior care, single and multi-family residential. Clientele for these projects include the US Navy, The Hilton, Marriott Hotels and Actress Lynda Carter.

He loves life, people and architecture, the heart of why he has lasting relationships with his clientele and friends over the years. He is proficient in unique skillsets that offer direct value to the needs and vision of most clientele, including the full spectrum of architecture, planning, entitlement processing, construction forensic, master planning, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Few architects possess the ability to physically survey, create their own grading and improvement plans or perform structural calculations. Although Steve has performed these engineering tasks along with his architecture for decades, he now uses outside consultants for landscape, civil & structural work.

His extensive background in a variety of residential, commercial and governmental projects provides a broad base to serve the clients best interests In 13+ years he did about $500 million worth of Navy projects acting as their in-house architect-planner-estimator. He delivers practical and innovative solutions for exciting and sound architecture for the 21st century.

He left the Navy in 2021 to resume his private practice in Idyllwild, CA to continue providing architectural services to Southern California.
